While we continue living in a largely virtual world, this is a great time for learning and self-improvement. There are a variety of cultural events and educational activities that are available online, many at no cost. Have you seen the list of Smithsonian Online Events? What about a little entertainment from the baby panda or other animals at the National Zoo? Are you interested in health and wellness? You can search for all kinds of fitness videos on YouTube. Yoga for seniors. Beginner pilates or Jazzercize. It's all there!

As we say goodbye to 2020 and begin the New Year, let's remember the advice of Suzy Toronto and think small for a while. Find the simple things in life that we can do to help others and make our hearts tingle. Little things. A card sent to a senior citizen. A small contribution to a worthy charity. Donations to food pantries and clothing drives. Spending time with someone who needs a friend.
Little things can mean a lot, so let’s explore the possibilities together! What little projects are on your radar?
